Market Life: Arts Fest Beverly, June 16, 2018

Market Life is a series of photo posts documenting the hard working Makers at the arts markets of New England.

Beverly is small city on the North Shore of Boston with a strong emphasis on promoting creative businesses. Home to Montserrat College of Art, Endicott College, The Cabot Cinema, Porter Mill studios and a host of independent retailers and hip restaurants, Beverly's downtown business association, Beverly Main Streets also produces one of the best art festivals in the region.

Arts Fest Beverly is a festive event all along Cabot Street with over 150 artists, crafters and vintage vendors from the Boston area market scene, and all over New England. The event includes entertainment, food trucks, kids’ activities. This well-run juried market has been consistently good for makers all over New England, bringing them out to the North Shore for the day every year.

This year, the weather was perfect, and Cabot street was crowded with visitors. After years of requests, we ( Rusty and Ingrid ) finally produced a Beverly screen print design which we debuted at the festival. It was an amazing event—I walked around and took some pictures to share.
